| LynxOS Board Support Package LynxOS is a UNIX-compatible, POSIX-conformant real-time operating system for embedded applications. LynxOS is much more than the UNIX operating system with real-time extensions. The LynxOS kernel has been developed to provide hard real-time response and is scalable, fully re-entrant, pre-emptible, and ROMable. XycomVME in conjunction with SYSGO Real-Time-Solutions has developed an easy-to-use LynxOS Board Support Package (BSP) for its latest generation of Intel-based VME processors. The LynxOS BSP provides a driver to allow simple user-configurable VMEbus memory mapping and interrupt handling.
