| Embedded Windows NT® Board Support Package XycomVME has developed the XVME-984/4 Board Support Package (BSP) to decrease the development time and effort required to develop a VMEbus system using the Embedded Windows NT operating system. This BSP allows for easy integration of the Embedded Windows NT operating system with the latest XycomVME Intel-based VME processor products. Embedded NT allows for a much smaller system storage device, such as a Disk-on-Chip or Flash drive. Systems as small as 20MB can be achieved. Features of the XVME-984/4 BSP include:
- 32-bit Windows NT driver providing VMEbus memory management and interrupt support
- Interactive driver configuration application
- Win32-compliant API for simple integration of customer applications
- VMEman Windows NT application suite including:
- VMEprobe - enables users define windows, read and write VME memory, and monitor and generate VMEbus interrupts
- VMEstat - displays configuration of master and slave images
- DAprobe - allows read and write operations to dual-access memory
